Tara was introduced in 1976 almost two years after the last Crissy family doll was produced. She is the only black doll produced for this series without a white counterpart.
Tara features two braids at her temples tied with white ribbons. She has black hair, black eyes, and a lovely, closed mouth smile. Tara wears a cute yellow and white gingham playsuit with a small orange flower applique and orange rickrack trim. She has bright yellow t-strap shoes with molded side buckles. No other Crissy family dolls were produced this year. |
