Pictured below is an adorable bent knee Ginny doll modeling the 1955 Bridal Trousseau wedding gown.  The gown is white lace over taffeta trimmed in white picot.  The dress has a single hook and eye closure. The dress originally had  sweetpea flowers at the waist.  Ginny's veil is a lace crown with a chapel lenth white netted veil.

Ginny was introduced by Vogue Dolls in 1951 until the company sold to Tonka in 1972.  A series of owners followed: Lesney Productions Corporation (1977-1982), Meritus Industries (1984-1985), and R. Dakin and Company (1986-1995). Ginny was reunited with the Vogue Doll Company name in 1995 and produced until about 2011 when the company ceased production and closed.
